K-Pop Girl Group Auditions 2026: Who Actually Accepts Female Applicants
Two of the biggest names women were applying to are not options right now. The 2026 BIGHIT MUSIC Global Audition is male-only, and the HYBE × Geffen Global Girl Group Audition closed on August 31, 2026. That does not mean the year is over. Below is every major agency, whether it currently accepts female applicants, and what the actual window is.

🎯 If you can only apply to one thing in October: YG
YG is the only agency running offline auditions in October with no gender restriction. The 2026 YG Global Audition accepts applicants born 2008–2015 regardless of gender or nationality across vocal, rap, dance, visual, acting and special talent. Applications run July through December, and the tour reaches the United States, Taiwan and Hong Kong in October, then Thailand and Canada in November, Australia and New Zealand in December.
Per-city dates for the October stops are published on the official YG audition site only. Confirm before booking travel. Preparation specifics are in the YG audition guide.
🟣 What about HYBE, specifically?
This is the most common search and the answer has two halves. HYBE's currently open tracks are male-only: BIGHIT MUSIC (born 2008 or later), ADOR (born 2007 or later) and BELIFT LAB (born 2007–2014).
HYBE's labels with girl groups do accept any gender — Source Music, behind Le Sserafim, and PLEDIS, behind fromis_9 — but both 2026 windows have already closed. Source Music took pre-registration only, August 3–23, with no on-site registration; its October 4 Sokcho and October 17–18 Jeju and Seogwipo dates are for applicants who already registered. PLEDIS ran its Wonder Teens Korea tour February 13–22.
So if the goal is specifically a HYBE girl group, the realistic move is to watch those two labels for their next cycle while applying to YG, JYP or SM now. Label-by-label submission rules are in the HYBE Labels guide.
♾️ No deadline pressure: JYP and SM
JYP keeps its online audition open year-round with no age, gender or nationality restriction, across vocal, dance, rap, acting and model. Nothing expires, so the sensible play is to spend the time raising the quality of the video rather than rushing a submission.
SM is touring 21 regions with the 2026 SM Global Audition for applicants born 2007–2015, covering vocal, dance, rap and acting. Korean stops closed pre-registration three days before each date, so check the official notice early — which cities land in October has not been published.
