Your video is your first and most important impression. Casting directors evaluate thousands of submissions weekly — learn how to make yours stand out instantly.

📹 1. Camera Framing & Orientation

🎤 Vocal & Rap Category

Framing: Waist-up (upper body). Keep your face clearly visible in natural light. Sing facing directly into the camera lens.

💃 Dance Category

Framing: Full body from head to toe. Ensure feet and head stay inside the frame throughout all dance movements.

🎵 2. Recommended Audition Songs (2026)

Rule #1: Do not sing songs by artists belonging to the agency you are auditioning for. (e.g. Do not sing BLACKPINK for YG or BTS for HYBE).

⚠️ Top 3 Mistakes That Get Applications Disqualified

1Using Beauty Filters / Snow Apps: Casting directors immediately delete videos with face slimming, eye enlarging, or skin smoothing filters.
2Heavy Reverb or Echo Audio: Do not record in a bathroom or apply digital reverb. Raw, clean vocals are required.
3Overly Long Submissions: Keep performance clips between 1 to 2 minutes max. Evaluators decide within the first 15 seconds.
