2. BIGHIT MUSIC Offline Auditions Start October 3

This is the most important audition of the month. The 2026 BIGHIT MUSIC GLOBAL AUDITION runs online and offline at the same time.

• Online applications: September 14 – December 5, 2026, on the official audition site
• Offline auditions: October 3 – December 5, 2026, in 15 cities
• Eligibility: Males born in 2008 or later, regardless of nationality or residence
• Category: No restriction — show whatever best represents your talent
• Registration: Walk-in only, no pre-registration for offline auditions

⚠️ Dates for the other 12 cities — including Seoul, Tokyo, Los Angeles and Sydney — were not in any report we could verify as of September 25. Check the BIGHIT MUSIC audition site and the official @BIGHITAudition account, where last year's city dates were posted one by one.

Why walk-in matters: you don't have to pass a video screening first. If you were unsure about your online video, the offline format may suit you better. Expect long queues, though — prepare a short, strong section of your song or dance rather than a full piece.

3. YG Global Audition — US, Taiwan and Hong Kong in October

The 2026 YG Global Audition is YG's first large-scale global search in two years, touring from July through December.

⚠️ Exact October dates and cities for the US, Taiwan and Hong Kong have not been announced. YG says venues and schedules are released one by one on its audition site and social channels, and some cities take advance registration while others are on-site only. Check the YG audition site before booking.

4. JYP and SM in October

JYP Entertainment — open year-round

According to JYP's official audition page, online auditions are open all year.

• Eligibility: No age, gender or nationality limit
• Categories: Vocal, dance, rap, acting, model
• Apply: the "Apply" button on the JYP audition site

There is no October deadline, so spend the time polishing your video. Note that JYP's 20th open trainee audition (Dec 1, 2025 – Feb 1, 2026) has already closed — posts saying it is still open are outdated.

SM Entertainment — global tour in progress

The 2026 SM GLOBAL AUDITION is touring 21 regions.

• Eligibility: Born 2007–2015
• Categories: Vocal, dance, rap, acting
• Route: Started in Busan on January 10, then Daegu, Gwangju, Daejeon, Jeju and Seoul → 15 overseas stops (Bangkok; Fukuoka, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka; Shanghai, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Beijing, Changsha, Chengdu; LA, New Jersey; Sydney, Brisbane)
• US and Australia applications opened on SM's audition site from March 23

💡 Before You Apply

Offline audition season also brings more fake casting scams. Three rules catch most of them:

1. Apply only through official domains. "Casting offers" by Instagram DM or open chat are not official.
2. Any request for money is a scam. Major agency open auditions never charge application, screening or training fees.
3. Re-check dates on official notices. Offline schedules can change locally — especially the ⚠️ items above.
