What Should Your One-Minute JYP Online Acting Audition Include?

Prepare the performance before opening the application

Choose a short scene that you can complete within one minute. The notice calls this free acting and does not restrict broadcast, theatre or film genres. It does not provide an approved script list, so a tutorial’s suggested scene is an editorial choice rather than a JYP requirement.

As an editorial preparation method, time the performance itself and check whether the final line finishes within the requested length. If you want to add an introduction, first check the current upload instructions; the category description does not specify whether introductions count toward the minute. Do not assume a longer file will be accepted because the acting segment alone is short.

Record a practice take and listen for audible words, controlled breath and a complete emotional change. These observations connect to the notice’s stated assessment points; they are not a scoring rubric or a promise of selection. Choose a scene you can perform clearly rather than increasing difficulty solely to impress a reviewer.

Check the form without guessing missing rules

1. Open the official JYP online notice and verify that this route is still ongoing.
2. Read the acting category again; confirm that you are not following another category’s instructions.
3. Open its application route and inspect the current fields, file restrictions and any consent instructions before uploading.
4. Preview the actual final file and confirm the information you entered is accurate.
5. Submit only when ready. Keep any completion message or reference the portal provides, because the notice says a submitted audition cannot be modified.

The five steps are an editorial workflow. We did not submit an application or inspect a logged-in applicant account to verify every possible upload field. A specific codec, file size, camera angle or clothing rule is not established by the saved notice.

Conditions and exceptions

Vocal, dance and rap instructions do not supply this acting limit. Do not carry a timing rule from one category into another without an explicit instruction. Similarly, the ongoing online eligibility wording does not override a project with its own birth-year limits or closing date.

The notice’s lack of age, gender and nationality restrictions describes eligibility for this route. It does not guarantee a callback, trainee contract, travel support or debut. If an additional form instruction appears, resolve it through the official portal before submitting.

Questions before you send

Is this the same as a JYP centre audition? No. This article covers the online notice only. A centre event can have its own date, check-in process and requirements.

Can I upload a replacement after applying? The notice says a submitted audition cannot be modified. It does not establish a universal repeat-application interval; do not use a second submission as an assumed editing tool.

Does everyone receive a result message? Only successful applicants are individually notified according to the checked notice. No guaranteed response date is given. See the no-response next-step guide for how to organize a completed application without inventing a rejection reason.

What should I do next? Use the online audition overview to distinguish routes, then reopen the current official form for this category. If a technical requirement remains unstated, use help information on the official portal before sending.
